Night light in the head

Here’s a great idea from Bill and Harriet on Miss Piggy. A light that comes on when you walk into the head in the dark. Very convenient, and it’s inexpensive too. Can you think of other places a night light might be good to have?

I really like having this aboard and so does my wife.

The first one here is a hoot.  I absolutely love it.  We hang our on the towel rack, not in the toilet.  The second one is if you really want a brighter night light.

Capt. Bill, I have a Catalina 350 with two doors leading into the head. Unlike a house on land, where a light switch is on the wall about 4 ft. up. My light in the head is on the mirror, up high. Anyone of my guest who might remember somewhat where the light switch is. Would be putting multiple greasy finger prints all of the mirror feeling for the switch.
I have installed a motion detector with a 15 lumen light that covers both door entries into the head. The light stays on as long as there is movement plus 15 secs.

I have installed a double AA motion detector with a 15 lumen light that covers both door entries into the head. The light stays on as long as there is movement plus 15 secs. Placing it directly under the sink. It is activated by anyone coming into the head from either door.
I also put two under the companionway. First step into the companionway from out side, lights up the step. Then a second one comes on towards the bottom step as you descend.
